Operations Manager - Southern Region

The Role: You will be responsible for the operation and management of our Southern region, installing and servicing CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and integrated systems. Reporting to the Region Director, you will:

Deliver service and installation profit in line with budget;
Ensure that the quality of engineering meets our exacting standards;
Manage planned & unplanned maintenance service delivery;
Manage installations from first acceptance and approval to delivery and handover;
Select, engage and control sub-contractors;
Select, train, develop and motivate your engineering staff;
Manage stock and purchasing.

Your key performance indicators will be:

Delivery of budgeted gross margin;
Customer satisfaction and retention;
Employee satisfaction and retention;
Engineer utilisation against availability;
PPM performance in accordance with NSI requirements;
Reactive service in accordance with agreed service levels.

Requirements

A well qualified engineer with several years experience
as a manager in the electronic security industry.
A strong man manager with good communication skills.
An organised and competent administrator.
A good knowledge of current NSI standards as they apply
to the services provided by the company.
Financially aware and able to manage a budget.
Experience of applying technology and information systems to
improve branch efficiency
Proven ability to deliver installations to time and margin.
A track record of identifying the need for change and driving
it forward to deliver improved performance.
