G4S Security Systems (UK) Ltd (G4S), part of G4S plc, has been appointed
in conjunction with their sister company G4S Security Services, by Global Crossing,
a leading critical telecommunications provider to provide a complete range of
security services for its operations across the UK. The contract, worth more than
£1.9 million over three years consolidates Global Crossings UK security
contracts throughout the UK.
Under the terms of the contract, which commenced on 1st August 2008, G4S will
provide an integrated security service,with a combination of security systems
installations across six UK sites and 3 mainland European sites plus static manned
guarding, key holding, escorting and emergency response, throughout the UK.
